The late Giora Shaar, founder of Shaar Giora Ltd., realized his dream when in the 1990s he built a professional plastic injection plant for manufacturing technical parts and components.

At Shaar Giora Ltd. we are fully prepared for consignment production. We do this by combining our production line with your company’s logistical set-up, forming a direct connection between the organizational "supply chains”. In this way, production is implemented through monitoring of the component inventory and the activity taking place in the client’s warehouses – without having to issue a direct order for each part.

Consignment production allows you, the client, to be sure that your inventory will always be safeguarded at the point that has been fixed between your minimum and maximum objectives, without damaging losses or unnecessary surplus.

For some of our clients, Shaar Giora Ltd. is considered to be a 'strategic supplier' – due to our unique expertise in the field as well as the raw materials that we know how to inject, particularly Poly Tungsten. Consequently, when requested, we are inspected and examined by our clients’ insurance companies to meet the requirements of a strategic supplier and to implement an operational risk management procedure for them.

As a strategic supplier, we keep a long-term operational inventory of certain raw materials (above the level of production needs for the foreseeable future). This inventory is kept at a separate and safe site. As some of the raw materials we work with are not always available or obtainable on the free market, by holding on to a large operational inventory we promise our clients a continuous flow of production and supply, even when special materials are involved.
